Lamborghini Centenario: Perfection Forged
The Lamborghini Centenario is the most fitting tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini in his centenary year: The Centenario’s naturally aspirated V12 engine produces 770 hp and powers from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, from 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds with a top speed of more than 350 km/h. The futuristic and essential design includes an extending rear wing providing more downforce at high speeds: the body, monocoque and all other body parts and trims are built entirely in carbon fiber. The infotainment system includes a sophisticated telemetry function: the Centenario provides ultimate performance, both on road and, should an owner wish, on track.

La Lamborghini Centenario se pare d’une robe “brute de carbone” avec bas de caisse accentué de couleur jaune. Entièrement constituée de fibres de carbone, la Centenario ne pèse que 1 520 kilogrammes. C’est 50 de moins que l’Aventador, la supercar sur laquelle se sont basés les designers pour concevoir la Centenario.
Lamborghini a repris la structure monocoque en fibre de carbone de l’Aventador en y incorporant de nouveaux éléments aérodynamiques, notamment un aileron arrière actif s’inclinant à haute vitesse pour optimiser les appuis aérodynamiques. On trouve au niveau des phares, des jupes latérales ou des passages de roue, des entrées pour guider l’air vers l’arrière de la sportive.

Moteur de la Lamborghini Centenario
Au cœur de la Centenario, c’est le bloc moteur V12 6.5 atmosphérique, avec une puissance portée à 770 ch. Le moteur est associé à une boîte robotisée simple embrayage et sept rapports et avec transmission intégrale.

La Lamborghini Centenario accomplit l’exercice du 0 à 100 km/h en 2,8 secondes, alors qu’il lui faut 23,5 secondes pour atteindre la barre des 300 km/h, la vitesse maxi étant annoncée à 350 km/h.

Stephan Winkelmann fait ses adieux avec la Lamborghini Centenario. A la fin de la Press Conference Lamborghini, Genève 2016, Stephan Winkelmann, devenu le patron de la division sport d’Audi, Quattro, il y a quelques jours, l’entreprise Lamborghini a tenu à ce qu’il présente le projet Autombili Lamborghini Centenario. Comme chaque année ce fut l’homme des présentations Lamborghini, aujourd’hui était sa dernière. Les adieux ont été émouvants, notamment quand Stephan Winkelmann s’est entouré de toute son équipe ou qu’il a été félicité par le directeur général d’Audi Rupert Stadler, qui lui a clamé « You are Mister Lamborghini ». La présentation se termine par des applaudissement à destination de Stephan Winkelmann.

Lamborghini Centenario dans Forza à l’E3 2016 & Super Trofeo dans Forza Motorsport 6
Automobili Lamborghini présente la Lamborghini Centenario au Salon international de l’automobile de Genève pour célébrer le centenaire de la naissance de son fondateur Ferruccio Lamborghini. Dans le même temps, Lamborghini & Microsoft annonce les débuts de la Lamborghini Centenario dans le prochain jeu de course automobile de Microsoft, sans citer le nom du prochain jeu Forza Horizon 3. Une autre annonce est celle d’un nouveau championnat avec la possibilité de piloter la Lamborghini Hurácan LP620-2 Super Trofeo dans Forza Motorsport 6.
